The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), working with Saudi officials and Qatar Airways, has released a set of health requirements for Hajj 1446 AH (2025), aimed at keeping pilgrims safe and healthy on their way to Makkah.
Hajj Vaccine requirements for All Pilgrims
The Ministry of Public Health in Qatar says several vaccinations are now compulsory for anyone hoping to get a Hajj permit.

Make sure you finish your vaccinations at least 10 days before your trip. The meningococcal vaccine can not be older than 3 years. These hajj vaccine requirements must be met.

Special Notes for High-Risk Groups
Certain groups should think twice before traveling this year.
If you are over 65, dealing with chronic illnesses like diabetes, heart or kidney disease, sickle cell anaemia, immunodeficiency, splenectomy, chronic respiratory or cardiovascular diseases, and smoker, pregnant, or have kids under 12, the Ministry says it’s best to postpone your pilgrimage.
For people above 60, the respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccine is also recommended.
