Msheireb Downtown Doha is ready to host a series of family-friendly activities, including stage performances, treasure hunts, face painting, and arts and crafts stations. The festivities are designed to engage visitors of all ages in a vibrant atmosphere. 

Entertainment & Stage Shows

An entertainment stage will host interactive shows and live music throughout each evening, while children’s programming will include magic and bubble shows, hands-on science demonstrations, face painting, creative workshops, and educational activities. In addition, families can participate in various competitions and interactive contests, with opportunities to win prizes.

Partner Offers & Museum Hours

Three major partner hotels—Mandarin Oriental Doha, Park Hyatt Doha, and Al Wadi Hotel Doha MGallery—offer special Eid packages. Visitors are also invited to visit the Msheireb Museums, which will observe special operating hours: closed on Thursday and Friday, open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday through Monday, and resuming normal hours on Tuesday. While general admission to all festival activities is complimentary, a few things will charge a nominal fee. Qatar Airways extended Eid Al Adha festivities to both its in-flight cabins and global Premium Lounges from 28 June to 1 July 2023. Onboard, Premium passengers were greeted with celebratory beverages and a bespoke à la carte menu—featuring dishes such as lentil soup, Middle Eastern spiced prawns, and a special local entrée by Chef Aisha Al Tamimi—served alongside festive lantern-themed napkin bands, coasters, and a Baklava dessert box. 

Economy travelers enjoyed holiday staples like dates, couscous salad with labneh, and grilled kofta with Bukhari rice, all presented with custom-cutlery bands bearing Eid greetings, followed by Kunefe cheesecake for dessert. 

At Hamad International Airport, Al Safwa First and Al Mourjan Business Lounges offered signature Eid refreshments including Qamar Al-Deen, Tamar-Hindi, and Jallab, while Qatar Airways’ Premium Lounges in Bangkok, Beirut, London, Paris, and Singapore replicated the celebratory spirit with special menus and themed décor.
